Get To Know Tanya Taylor, CPA, MBA, CFEI

In addition to being a CPA and holding an MBA in Strategic Management, Tanya is in the process of completing her Personal Financial Specialist Credential. As an undocumented  16 year old who moved to America alone from her beautiful island of Jamaica, it has been Tanya’s personal mission to stop the cycle of poverty and build wealth.  Shortly after graduating college she co-founded and ran a stock market investment club and founded a children’s financial education club.  For over 2 decades, she committed to volunteer her time teaching personal finance and wealth buildings to individuals and small business owners. She also leveraged her skills as the co-owner of a tax practice, to help individuals and small business owners with business finances & tax planning.

Founder & CEO of Tanya Taylor LLC, and the author of The Roadmap to 850, The Ultimate Guide to a Perfect Credit Score, Tanya works closely with her clients to achieve their financial goals in the area of credit, budget, debt, investing, tax planning and wealth protection.

Prior to founding Tanya Taylor LLC, Tanya spent 24 years in the financial services industry in accounting and risk, bringing together perspectives and insights from a variety of roles including as an auditor (Deloitte), Accounting Policy (Moody’s Investor Service & New York LIfe), and banking regulator (Federal Reserve Board of Governors).
